Otowen® is a homeopathic remedy designed to relieve the pain and discomfort associated with middle ear infections in adults and children. It works without direct contact with the affected ear, offering a convenient and effective alternative.

This formula combines several well-established homeopathic ingredients to soothe pain, reduce inflammation, and promote healing of middle ear infections. It is well-tolerated and can be used in conjunction with other treatments. It is available without a prescription.

Medicinal ingredients:
Each gram, corresponding to approximately 33 drops, contains Chamomilla vulgaris (German chamomile) 4X at 0.2 g, Conium maculatum (hemlock) 4X at 0.2 g, Eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus) 4X at 0.2 g, Colchicum autumnale (autumn crocus) 4X at 0.2 g and Valeriana officinalis (valerian) 4X at 0.2 g.

Non-medicinal ingredients:
The product contains purified water and ethyl alcohol (approximately 23% v/v).

Dosage:
For adults and children 12 years and older, the recommended dosage is 10 to 15 drops, one to three times daily. For children 6 to 11 years old, the dosage is 7 to 10 drops, one to three times daily. Symptomatic improvements may not be noticeable until approximately four to six weeks of regular use.
